北京大学社会学人类学研究所、蔡华教授: 欣闻蔡华教授荣获法国科学院2002年度“法语国家大奖”金奖,我们对此表示真诚祝贺。 人类学是一门自西方传来的学问。它要求研究者既要具备人类学的理论基础,同时还需要进行大量艰辛的田野工作。蔡华教授的研究就是运用西方人类学知识研究中国本土文化的一次尝试。他以其研究成果对传统人类学理论提出了质疑与补充,并由此得到国际学术界的首肯,说明随着中国学者研究实力的提高及国际间文化交流的深入,中国的人类学、民族学研究已经逐渐为国际人类学、民族学界所认知和重视。
Peking University Institute of Sociology and Anthropology, Professor Cai Hua: I am pleased to hear that Professor Cai Hua won the French Academy of Sciences in 2002 “Francophone Award” gold medal, we hereby express my sincere congratulations. Anthropology is a learned from the West. It requires that researchers not only have the theoretical foundation of anthropology, but also need a lot of hard work in fields. Professor Cai Hua’s research is an attempt to use western anthropology to study Chinese native culture. With his research results, he questioned and supplemented the traditional anthropological theories and got the approval of the international academic community. This shows that with the improvement of the research capabilities of Chinese scholars and the deepening of international cultural exchanges, Chinese anthropology and ethnology Research has gradually been recognized and valued by international anthropology and ethnology.
