执政为民是马克思主义政党永恒的政治理念和行为准则,是我们党全部执政活动的出发点和归宿。贯彻“三个代表”重要思想的本质即在于立党为公、执政为民。在当前全面建设小康社会的新形势下,党的各级领导干部要增强执政能力,提高领导水平,就必须在思想上牢牢树立执政为民的理念,抢抓机遇,加快发展,力争在第一要务上有所作为;全心全意为人民服务;实事求是,一切从实际出发,摒弃形式主义和官僚主义作风;清正廉洁,自觉与各种腐败现象作斗争,从各个方面全面体现执政为民的原则和要求。
Governing the people for the people is the eternal political philosophy and code of conduct of the Marxist political parties and is the starting point and end-result of all our party’s ruling activities. The essence of implementing the important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ lies in establishing the party for the public and governing for the people. Under the current situation of building an overall well-to-do society, the party’s leading cadres at all levels must, in their thinking, firmly establish the concept of governing for the people, seize the opportunities and speed up their development so as to enhance their ability to govern and improve their leadership. First, we must do something to serve the cause; serve the people wholeheartedly; seek truth from facts, proceed from reality and abandon the formalism and bureaucratic style of work; be honest and clean, conscientiously fight various corrupt practices, fully reflect the principle of governing for the people from all aspects, and Claim.
