Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) can not only cause neonatal death, and easily lead to disabilities in children. From April 1997 to April 1999, we treated 110 cases of moderate and severe HIE with hyperbaric oxygen. The results were satisfactory and the prognosis was improved.
