在丛谈的第二讲中我们提到过:棕榈科学名中的Palm是棕榈、手掌的同义词,源于棕榈的掌状叶片;举起手掌就象征着一片棕榈叶。如果我们握拳后只伸出叉开的食指和中指呢,恐怕全世界都知道这是表示“胜利、成功”的手势语。但很少有人知道,这一“Ⅴ”字形手势仍然来源于棕榈叶。掌状叶以许多“Ⅴ”形小叶组合为同心圆的掌形,羽状叶更是由许多“Ⅴ”形小叶排列在叶轴两边组合而成的。亚、非、欧三大洲交汇的中东地区,是伊斯兰教、犹太教、基督教
As we mentioned in the second lecture on plexus, Palm is a palm-palm synonym for palms, a palmate leaf of palm, and palm raised to symbolize a palm leaf. If we only hold out the opened index finger and middle finger after making a fist, I am afraid the whole world will know that this is a sign of victory and success. But few people know that this “Ⅴ” shaped gesture still comes from palm leaves. Palmate leaves with many “Ⅴ” shaped lobes combined into a concentric palm shape, plume leaf is more by “Ⅴ” shaped leaflets arranged on both sides of the combination of leaf axis.
