2012年9月26日至2013年2月28日,中国首个壁画双年展——“天工·2012大同国际壁画双年展”在山西省大同市和阳美术馆举行。大同作为文化古都,是三晋文化遗产传承和保存中最重要、最具代表性同时最为集中的发祥地。云冈石窟、悬空寺被列入世界文化遗产名录,其悠久的历史和卓越的艺术成就代表着传统艺术的极高水平,为国内外所瞩目。大同市拥有大量的古代壁画群,市政府正在努力保护、修复与再现这些壁画经典,打造中国建筑、壁画和雕塑的历史文化名城,这将是造福子孙后代、具有历史和文化意义的重大工程。在这样的发展经济和发展文化
From September 26, 2012 to February 28, 2013, China’s first mural biennale- “Heavenly Creations 2012 Datong International Frescoes Biennale” was held in He Yang Art Museum in Datong City, Shanxi Province. As the ancient capital of culture, Datong is the most important, representative and concentrated birthplace in the inheritance and preservation of cultural heritage in Sanjin. Yungang Grottoes and Xuan Keng Temple have been included in the World Cultural Heritage List. Their long history and outstanding artistic achievements represent the highest level of traditional arts, attracting attention both at home and abroad. Datong has a large number of ancient murals.
