人民警察的职责就是保护人民的利益。杨增社的父母、妻子、儿女是他的亲人,同时也是人民的一分子。假如杨增社对自己最亲近的人都不能负一些起码的责任,那还何谈捍卫广大人民的利益呢?
The duty of the people’s police is to protect the interests of the people. Yang Zengshe’s parents, his wife and children are his relatives, but also a part of the people. If Yang Zengshe can not bear any minimum responsibility for those closest to him, what is the point of defending the interests of the broad masses of people?
