英国人类学家泰勒(1832—1917)说:“文化,就其在民族志中的广义而言,是个复合的整体,包含知识、信仰、艺术、道德、法律、习俗和个人作为社会成员所必需的其他能力和习惯。”简单地说,文化是人们生活意识、习惯、观念等的集合。胡同文化、四合院影响了北京人的生活,反过来也可以说北京人的文化造就了胡同和四合院。许多人也许会感觉到,文化这样贴近我们的生活,文化也可以这样探究。红墙小院餐厅位于北京史家胡同内的红墙花园酒店,地处东城最繁华的闹市中。
