关中地区是陕西省商品小麦生产基地。麦蚜是该地区主要的小麦害虫,除直接取食为害外,又是小麦黄矮病的重要传毒介体。据调查,在1949—1979年中,麦蚜大发生范围在十县以上,成灾面积达百万亩以上的年份共有6次,即1952年麦长管蚜Macrosiphum avenae(Fab.)大发生,1960、1966、1970、1973和1978年麦二叉蚜Schizaphis graminum(Rond.)猖獗成灾,造成了小麦的严重减产。
Guanzhong region is the production of wheat in Shaanxi Province.
