科研工作(学科研究与科技开发)历来是高等院校的重要工作内容之一,同时也是衡量高等院校教育质量、师资水平以及社会经济效益的重要尺度,特别是随着我国社会主义市场经济体制的逐步确立以及竞争机制的逐渐形成,社会经济的发展对高等学校的人才培养和科研工作提出了更高更新的要求.但是,由于我们电视大学建校(复校)时间短、基础条件差、教学教务工作繁杂,科研工作还没有引起足够的重视,对科研工作的投入也很少,甚至部分同志对科研工作的重要性还缺乏足够认识.
