一、概述武汉石油化工厂的火炬,座落在厂区东南角一个延伸至长江港汊内的长条形半岛的顶端。三面环水,一面通过一条窄长的土丘与厂区相连。火炬简体高80m,外径为630mm、壁厚为14mm,由分布在三个方向的三层拉绳所固定。在它的顶端安装了一个高4.2m重1432kg的带有蒸汽雾化装置的火炬头。火炬简体与火炬头用法兰连接。火炬建成十年来,恶劣的工作条件使火炬头变形且损坏严重。虽然多次修复,仍不能满足生产要求,必须更换新的火炬头。
I. OVERVIEW The torch at Wuhan Petrochemical Plant is located at the top of a strip peninsula within the southeastern corner of the plant that extends into the Yangtze River Harbor.
