欧阳予倩曾于1946年12月乘船与新中国剧社赴台演出,学术界关于欧阳予倩赴台演出时间的说法多有讹误。欧阳予倩在台湾时写有《关于<郑成功>的演出》与《台湾剧运的新阶段》,并在1947年2月第四届戏剧节纪念会上发表关于中国剧运的演说。《关于<郑成功>的演出》一文肯定了《郑成功》在台湾演出的意义,欧阳予倩关于“历史戏”的见解也颇有见地。在《台湾剧运的新阶段》一文中,欧阳予倩指出台湾的戏剧运动是中国戏剧运动的一环,他呼吁剧人竭力争取光明的前途。“二二八”事件之后,欧阳予倩回到大陆,写有《台游杂拾》,记录了光复后台湾社会状况及剧团在台湾的演出和台湾的戏剧状况,对“二二八”事件的起因、经过有比较详细的叙述和中肯的评价。这三篇文章及演说,欧阳予倩文集、全集都未收录,几种欧阳予倩年表、传记未曾记载,而它们不但是研究欧阳予倩的珍贵史料,而且是两岸戏剧交流的见证。
Ouyang Yu Qian had taken a boat trip to Taiwan with a new Chinese drama club in December 1946, and there were many erroneous statements by academics about the time during which Ouyang Yuqian went to Taiwan to perform. Ouyang Yuqian wrote “A Performance on Zheng Chenggong” and “A New Phase of Taiwan’s Opera” in Taiwan and delivered a speech on Chinese drama at the 4th Drama Festival Commemorative Meeting in February 1947. The “Performance on Zheng Chenggong” affirmed the significance of “Zheng Chenggong” performing in Taiwan. The opinion of Ouyang Yuqian on “Historical Opera” is quite impressive. In his article “The New Stage of Taiwan’s Theater,” Ouyang Yuqian pointed out that Taiwan’s drama movement is part of the Chinese drama movement and urged the dramatists to strive for a bright future. Ouyang Yuqian returned to the mainland after the incident of “February 28” and wrote “Taiwan’s Travelogue” to record the social conditions of Taiwan after the recovery and the performance of the troupe in Taiwan and the drama in Taiwan.
