广西的经济学界应把主要力量,百分之九十的力量,放在研究广西的问题上,而且应研究一些大的问题.现在社会科学界有一个大问题,就是一个人搞一个题目写本书,因为评职称要靠这个.我们要提倡另外一种办法,即只要在本地工作当中运用科学知识取得成就的人,就可以得职称.现在,我们的职称很大程度是出版社给的.出版社可以给,我们区党委就不可以给吗?我们人民政府就不可以给吗?如果证明你确实是运用科学,你的知识,你的材料,你的论点,确实是起到了作用,就应该给职称.料研技术力量从哪里来呢?一是自力更生,培养人才;二是请进来,派出去学.你们看准了谁,事先就可以“定货”,给外省的专家出些题目:我们广西有几个难以解决的问题,请你们看看,我请你来,敬为上宾.到广西开学术会议的,“雁过拔毛”嘛.用各种办法办班,请人来讲课,花不了几个钱.如果定出这么一个规矩,以后就不一样了.北京市的同志发表意见,说我们北京这棵“梧桐树”留不下“金凤凰”,很多知识分子都到别的地方办事情.北京知识分子比上海多一倍,用得不充分.现在引起注意了.我看,即使北京、上海等许多地方注意了知识分子的利用,外地还是可以从这些知识分子集中的地方得到知识分子的帮助.现在许多地方都着急了;都来想各种办法吸引人.广西这个地方不是文化?
