西南边疆治理自秦汉以来倍受统治者的重视。西南边疆远离内地,地势崎岖不平,交通极为闭塞,民族成分复杂,致使西南边疆治理曾数度使统治者焦头烂额。那么历代王朝是如何治理西南边疆的呢?本文根据史料对秦汉至明清时期有关西南边疆治理的主要方法及与之相对应的事件进行了梳理,并在此基础上对西南边疆治理作出了探讨。
Since the Qin and Han dynasties, the governance of the southwest frontier has been greatly emphasized by the rulers. The southwest frontier is far away from the hinterland and its terrain is rugged. Traffic is extremely blocked and its ethnic composition is complicated. As a result, the southwestern frontier has for several times ruined the rulers. How did the dynasties govern the southwestern frontier? Based on the historical data, this paper sorts out the main methods of the administration of the southwestern frontier from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties and their corresponding events, and on this basis, discusses the management of the southwestern frontier .
