US Air Force Materials Laboratory successfully researches new damping material systems - elastomers and glass enamels. Their light weight, low cost, ease of use, and effective vibration removal capabilities make them significantly less vibrational for parts of the engine and fuselage, extending service life and saving on maintenance costs.
