欧洲人倡议的“学习型社会”是一个具有下列五个特征的社会:1.学习作为一项终身不间断的活动被所有社会成员所认可。2.人们把学习看作是自己取得进步的责任。3.与其说评估是为了确认各种人或事的失败(译注:指找出原因和估测后果),不如说通过评估更坚定取胜的信念。(译注:中国有句成语:“失败乃成功之母”。这里讲的正是指从失败中学习,是人们走向成功的重要途径。“学习型社会”更重视彻底揭露失败和事故的方方面面,从中反省、深思而悟到成功的关键所在。因此,从失败中学习是“学习型社会”成员的共同概念。)4.人的能力、个人和人们共有的价值观以及团体协力完成的工作成果都被认为是与其所追求的知识深广度相对应的。
