On the afternoon of October 30, 2002, the founding meeting of Zhongshan Statistics Institute was held ceremoniously in Zhongshan City Government Conference Center. Vice President of China Statistics Society, Director of Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Statistics, President of Provincial Statistical Institute Bu Xinmin, Member of Standing Committee of Zhongshan Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Wu Ruicheng, Director of Scientific Research Institute of Provincial Bureau of Statistics, and Secretary-General of European Statistical Society Speaking.
