应中国建筑学会邀请,美国女建筑师中国研究小组代表团一行十五人,于四月六日至四月二十七日在我国北京、上海、苏州、曲阜、泰安、呼和浩特,包头、广州等地进行了参观访问和学术交流。她们参观了我国的住宅建筑、生活居住区、施工工地、工人新村、博物馆、古建筑、少数民族建筑,并参观了清华大学建筑系、同济大学建筑系,在学校同师生进行了学术座谈。还在北京、上海、呼和浩特、广州等地举行了学术报告会和座谈会。在北京期间由阎子祥理事长设宴招待了代表团全体成员。
At the invitation of the Chinese Society of Architects, a delegation of 15 Chinese from the American Women’s Architects China Research Team visited Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Qufu, Tai’an, Hohhot, Baotou, Guangzhou, etc. from April 6 to April 27. Conducted visits and academic exchanges. They visited our country’s residential buildings, living and residential areas, construction sites, workers’ new villages, museums, ancient buildings, ethnic minority buildings, and visited the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University and the Department of Architecture of Tongji University, where they held academic discussions with teachers and students. Academic conferences and seminars were also held in Beijing, Shanghai, Hohhot and Guangzhou. During his stay in Beijing, he hosted a banquet for the entire delegation.
