1986年10月7日至13日,我们一行三人。按照省厅经作处和棉麻学会的统一安排,对湖北省的棉花生产情况进行了短期的考察,先后听取了湖北省农牧厅棉麻处和荆州地区棉麻负责同志的经验介绍。围绕良种、良法和优质棉基地等情况,考察了荆州地区的江陵、潜江两个县。我们认为,湖北省对棉花生产抓得紧,种得好,产量高,经验多。尤其在种子工作方面,有更多的可取之处。现将这次考察结果报告如下:
