中国地质学会先后于1922年和1936年,分别创刊了外文季刊《中国地质学会会志》和中文双月刊《地质论评》。这两种刊物曾在地质科学方面发挥了国内外学术交流的作用。1952年,由于集中出版,中国地质学会决定将原有两种刊物改为一种中文期刊,定名《地质学报》。迨至1957年,为了适应国内地质科研迅速发展而大量涌现出的地质专业论著的交流与传播,《地质论评》又行复刊,到1966年为止,前后断续刊布了共24卷。其中除各种专门论文外,还增设了讨论、书刊评介、研究报道及地质活动等多栏。内容生动活泼,深受地质界读者的欢迎。
In 1922 and 1936, the Geological Society of China successively started the foreign quarterly magazine “China Geological Society Association” and the Chinese bi-monthly “Geological Review.” Both of these publications have played a role of academic exchange at home and abroad in geosciences. In 1952, due to the centralized publication, the Chinese Geological Society decided to change the two original publications to a Chinese periodical named “Geological Journal”. To 1957, in order to meet the rapid development of geology and scientific research in China and the emergence of a large number of geology professional exchange and dissemination of the “geological comment” line again, until 1966, before and after the disintegration of a total of 24 volumes. In addition to a variety of special papers, but also added discussion, book reviews, research reports and geological activities and other columns. Lively content, welcomed by the readers of the geological community.
