外语学习动机是外语学习中重要的情感因素之一,也是制约学生外语学习成绩的主要变量之一,进行外语学习动机的研究可以帮助理解外语学习的心理过程和个体差异,从而找到激发学生外语学习动机的途径和策略。学习动机长期以来受到外语学习研究者的广泛关注,近十余年以来,外语学习动机研究主要借鉴主流动机心理学的理论框架,更加注意与学校外语教育情景的结合。本文概述了这一时期提出的主要动机理论建构及其教育学意义,其研究整体趋势是由主导理论走向多元化。
Motivation in foreign language learning is one of the most important emotional factors in foreign language learning, and it is also one of the major variables that restrict students’ achievement in foreign language learning. The study of foreign language learning motivation can help to understand the psychological process and individual differences in foreign language learning, so as to find out that inspiring students’ foreign language learning. Motivational approach and strategy. The motivation of learning has long been widely studied by researchers of foreign language learning. In the past decade or so, the study of foreign language learning motivation mainly draws on the theoretical framework of mainstream motivation psychology, and pays more attention to the combination of school foreign language education. This article outlines the main motivational theory construction proposed in this period and its pedagogical significance. Its overall trend of research is from the dominant theory to diversification.
