热稳定性是半导体激光泵浦固体激光器(DPSSL)的重要问题,对出光功率、光束质量以及总体稳定性等都有严重影响。研究了热稳定腔的热稳定性条件,采用临界腔的方法实验测量了不同调Q频率激光振荡的热稳定区。结果表明:随着激光调Q频率的提高,激光的热透镜焦距变长,热稳定区变宽。研究结果对热稳定性理论进行了补充,为非线性效应等脉冲激光应用的腔型设计提供了有益指导。
Thermal stability is an important issue for semiconductor laser-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSSL), which have a serious impact on output power, beam quality and overall stability. The thermal stability conditions of the thermal stability cavity were studied. The thermal stability of laser oscillation with different Q-switched frequency was experimentally measured by using the critical cavity method. The results show that with the increase of laser Q-switched frequency, the focal length of the laser thermal lens becomes longer and the thermal stability region becomes wider. The results complement the theory of thermal stability and provide useful guidance for the cavity design of pulsed laser applications such as nonlinear effects.
