目前,我国矿山所采用的气力推车机均为直接驱动方式,即气缸活塞杆末端直接带着推车器推送矿车。这种推车机虽然具有结构简单、布置紧凑及效率高等优点。但是,往往由于推车行程长,导致气缸和活塞杆都相应很长,这就给制造工艺过程带来了许多困难,尤其是对于无专用加工设备的工厂更是困难。在国内,虽然也有不少气力推车机缸体未经镗削加工,直接采用整段无缝钢管装配,可是,这种推车机气缸活塞与缸壁之间密封性能难以保证,前后缸串气较严重,另外由于原无缝钢管内壁较粗糙,致使密封皮碗磨损较严重等。
