古时候,毛利人认为自身和他们的生活与自然界密切相关。神对万事万物各方面的因素都产生着巨大的的影响力。即使是砍树或者打猎这样的日常工作,毛利人如果不先拜拜神也绝对不会做的。
In ancient times, Maori believed that they were closely related to their life and nature. God has a tremendous influence on all aspects of everything. Even if the daily work of cutting trees or hunting, the Maori would never have done so without first worshiping God.
