分别用大黄素、大黄酚、大黄酸及槲皮素等对植物病原真菌细链格孢、盘多毛孢、栗盘色多隔孢、香石竹单孢锈等菌的产孢数量、菌丝生命活力、菌落产生孢子盘及孢子萌发等进行实验, 发现上述天然产物对上述病原真菌均有显著的抑制作用. 这一发现将对真菌的生理生化研究以及进一步寻找高效、低毒、无公害杀菌剂提供了理论依据.
