This book presents an accurate and modern method for analyzing the stress and velocity distribution of metals as they undergo plastic deformation. This analysis is based on the mathematical achievements of plastic flow in recent years. The main method is to solve the boundary value problem of the characteristic line equation in the basic control equations. The purpose of this book is to illustrate the fundamental advances in mathematical theory of plastic flow, allowing us to conduct a plastic forming process on a reliable basis. This book does not discuss approximations that can be found in many of the monographs familiar to you.
