Objective: To understand the prevalence of lead levels and lead poisoning in children aged 0 ~ 6 years in Baise city and to provide scientific guidance for the prevention and treatment of lead in children. Methods: From January 2008 to December 2010, 1 544 children aged 0-6 years in the Children’s Health Care Center of Baise MCH and Baise City Kindergarten children were tested for their blood lead levels by atomic absorption spectroscopy. Blood lead level and Lead poisoning detection rate, at the same time, different gender and age groups of children blood lead levels were compared. Results: The blood lead levels were normal in 1 544 children with blood lead level of 0μg / L ~ 304μg / L, with an average of (59.3 ± 23.5) μg / L; of which 1 433 children had normal blood lead levels and 111 Cases of blood lead exceeded the normal range. There were no significant differences in blood lead levels between boys and girls, 62 of 983 boys were lead poisoning and 56 of 561 girls were lead poisoning. 0 to 1 year old, 1 to 2 years old, 2 to 3 years old, blood lead levels and lead poisoning detection rate showed a gradual upward trend, 3 to 4 years old, 4 to 5 years of blood lead levels have declined, 5 to 6 years of blood Lead levels rise again. Conclusion: The incidence of lead poisoning in children aged 0 ~ 6 years in Baise City is relatively high, which should be paid great attention to by parents, teachers and community. Combined with various forces, various risk factors of lead poisoning should be avoided as much as possible. Prevention provides protection and promotes the healthy growth of children.
