氯化法生产钛白粉工艺中,四氯化钛(TiCl_4)生产工序所产生的尾气(主要为氯气),在排放前需用盐酸淋洗进行吸收,以免污染空气。所需的盐酸浓度为20%~30%,温度60℃,流量35m~3/h。使用65FS-40型耐酸泵进行输送,该泵结构如图1。从图1可以看出,理论上泵运转时,泵轴4接触不到盐酸,但由于安装及操作等原因,往往会引起一些盐酸通过机械密封等泄漏出
