增祥好吟擅赋,意境唯美。他常在画中以诗为跋,诗画相映成辉。真正的画家就应该是集诗书画为一体的艺术家,否则只能算是“画匠”。王增祥自幼爱学,习字作画,手不释卷,颇显多才。增祥师古有化,他的画作走的是一条传统文人画的路子。在他看来,没有深厚的文学修养很难走出一条属于自己的路子。因此,他熟读唐诗宋词、《古文观止》,探研《文心雕龙》,细究诸子百家等历代名家经典佳作,汲取优秀的古典文学滋养自己的书画艺术。他常在画中题诗作跋,使画作的意蕴更为深长,不仅极具深厚的文学功底,更彰显其集诗书画于一身的内力。

Therefore, he is familiar with the poems of Tang and Song Dynasties, “Gu Wenjian only”, the “Wen Xin Diao Long”, a thorough study of hundreds of ancient classics and other classic masterpieces, drawing on outstanding classical literature to nourish his art of painting and calligraphy. He often inscribes poems in the painting postscript, so that the meaning of painting is more profound, not only very profound literary skills, but also highlights its poetry and painting in one of the internal forces.
