由国际疼痛研究学会(International Association for the Study of Pain,IASP)主持召开的第8届世界疼痛会议(8th World Congress on Pain)于1996年8月17～22日在加拿大温哥华举行。会议期间由许多世界著名疼痛学专家主讲的知识更新讲座(Refresher Course)反映了国际疼痛学的新进展。本刊编辑部就近约请了几位疼痛科学者对其部分重要内容加以综合,以期尽快介绍给读者。这些内容涉及面广,虽偏重于基础理论研究,但对临床很有指导意义,相信会对我们的实际工作有巨大帮助。
The 8th World Congress on Pain, chaired by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), was held in Vancouver, Canada, from August 17-22, 1996. During the conference, the Refresher Course, which is led by many world famous pain science experts, reflects the new progress of international pain science. The editorial department recently invited several pain scientists to integrate some of its important content, with a view to introduce readers as soon as possible. These contents cover a wide range, although the emphasis on basic theoretical research, but very instructive clinical, I believe it will be of great help to our practical work.
