在我国新石器时代的考古发掘中,发现有一些陶制的、中空、内含数枚小石子、陶丸或沙粒的器物出土,以手摇之,可发出沙沙声响。有些文章称之为“空心陶球”、“陶铃”、“陶响器”等。这类器物分布于我国的四川、湖北、安徽、河南,山东、陕西、甘肃等地区,属新石器时代考古学文化,出土量比较大。总起来看似乎可分为球形、铃形和盒形三种类型(见图)。球形的最为多见,表面尚镂有孔并有多种纹饰。
During the Neolithic archaeological excavations in our country, some earthenware hollow articles containing unearthed objects of pebbles, pottery balls or sand were found unearthed by hand to make rustling sound. Some articles call it “Hollow Pottery Ball”, “Pottery Bell”, “Potter” and so on. Such artifacts are located in Sichuan, Hubei, Anhui, Henan, Shandong, Shaanxi, Gansu and other regions of our country, belong to the Neolithic archeology culture, unearthed a relatively large amount. Seems to be divided into spherical, bell-shaped and box-shaped three types (see photo). The most common spherical, the surface is still engraved with holes and a variety of ornamentation.
