自上而下阅读是一种积极的认知过程,它要求读者将自己已有的知识经验应用到文章的解读中。本研究是一项以课程为基础的历时研究,尝试以局域网内的在线讨论板为平台,让学生将个人的已有知识经验及对课文的不同理解用于对课文进行准实时地、协作地解读。在一学期的在线准实时讨论过程中,本研究观察了学生个人观点输出、已有知识经验输出及学生在线协作模式所呈现出的持续变化。通过用18项变量对学生6次在线论坛中所发帖子的内容与话语进行跟踪分析,发现学生所发贴子不但持续增加,而且帖子间的互动性、帖子包含的个人已有知识经验也在增加,学生的认知技能也得到了发展。这种发展变化表明学生的自上而下阅读技能得到了提高。
Reading from top to bottom is a positive cognitive process that requires readers to apply their own knowledge to the interpretation of the article.
