在ＴＨＦ中以金属钠于常温常压下处理环戊二烯并与溴乙烷作用，方便地获得了１－乙基环戊二烯，产率高于７２％。经１ＨＮＭＲ、ＵＶ、ＩＲ、Ｃ、Ｈ元素分析等表征证实，也受到其衍生物表征结果的支持。简化了文献方法，商讨了文献结论。
Treatment of cyclopentadiene with sodium metal in THF at room temperature and normal pressure with ethyl bromide gave conveniently 1-ethylcyclopentadiene in a yield of over 72%. The results of 1HNMR, UV, IR, C, H elemental analysis confirmed that it was also supported by the results of its derivatives characterization. Simplify the literature method, discussed the literature conclusion.
