我们壶关县地处太行山东南端,是一个典型的干石山区。全县20个乡镇,388个行政村,25万人,总面积151.9万亩,其中荒山沟坡面积106.7万亩,占到总面积的70.2%,发展林业有着比较优越的条件。党的十一届三中全会以后,我们立足本县实际、积极探索科学营林新路,致力生态经济林业建设,全县林业生产取得了明显成效。特别是1988年建立乡镇林业工作站以来,出现了服务工作细,技术普及快,造林质量高的局面,使林业生产在去年基础上,又上一个新台阶。
