淮安市淮安区(原楚州区)位于江苏北部,以农业为主,地域经济欠发达。2010年,卫生部启动慢性非传染性疾病(以下简称“慢病”)综合防控示范区创建工作,淮安区作为较早开展慢病防治的地区,在区委、区政府打造“幸福淮安区”的民生口号下,也积极参与到创建工作中,并于2012年12月,被卫生部命名为“国家慢病综合防控示范区”。为总结和交流经验,促进全国慢病综合防控工作的快速发展,现将该区创建历程
