News reports of newspapers have a direct role in guiding social public opinion. The newspaper’s narrative style has a direct impact on the readers’ understanding of the truth, that is, the fact of narrative construction. The same incident, due to ideology, political purposes, the concept of newspaper and so on, different newspapers on the same thing even have very different story. News translation, different from literary translation, has strong guidance to the public. In order to meet the needs of its own ideology and politics, news translation is often unbelievable. If we accept these “unbeliefs” rather than the translators’ artificial mistranslations, we find that there are many factors that prompt the translator to make these “unbelievers.” This article takes Obama since Obama took office in 2009, during his first visit to China to meet with Hu Jintao, the Associated Press for the Chinese translation of the report as an example, from the perspective of rewriting the analysis of this translation.
