目前人们对高速燃烧器的燃烧过程的设计认识是:燃料在燃烧室或燃烧坑道中,基本上达到完全燃烧。由于燃烧室是接近于密闭的,故在燃烧器内能保持一定的静压,能使燃烧后的烟气大于100m/s的高速从燃烧室出口喷射入炉膛。我们现在看到的高速燃烧器都是根据这种原理而设计制造的。其中有的高速燃烧器增加了一些其他内容,成为新的品种。如:使部分燃气回流将液体燃料在与空气混合前,使液体燃料进行完全汽化,得到与气体燃料相同的燃烧状态的高速燃烧器。这种燃烧器虽然在结构上与其他燃烧器有所不同,但其燃烧原理还是离不开上面所说的原理。
