著名语文教育家、学者、作家、人民教育出版社特约编审张中行先生2006年2 月24日以98岁高龄与世长辞了。张先生生前曾给我刊“追忆黄金时光”栏目写过文章,并和编辑结下了忘年之谊。我们深深怀念这位世纪文化老人的人品、学品,特邀请人民教育出版社编审张厚感先生为本刊撰文,纪念张中行先生为语文教育事业作出的贡献。
Famous Chinese educators, scholars, writers and special editors of the People’s Education Publishing House, Mr. Zhang Zhongxing resigned on February 24, 2006, at the age of 98. Mr. Zhang once wrote an article to the “Remembrance of the Golden Time” column in my journal, and he and the editor formed a friendship of forgetting the year. We deeply cherish the memory of the character and learning materials of this century-old man. We especially invite Mr. Zhang Hougan, editor of the People’s Education Publishing House, to write an article for this issue to commemorate Mr. Zhang Zhongxing’s contribution to the Chinese language education.
