以人为本或叫人本主义,是一个有多种概念的词组。留意近年报刊,它最少具有9种词意。1.中国古代的“民为邦本”、“以民为本”、“以人为本”和“以人为贵”,意义一致。2.古希腊智者针对“神是万物的尺度”提出“人是万物的尺度”,这是西方第一个人本主义的命题。以后的哲学史上又出现“人是宇宙中心”,所有生物的存在都要服从人的利益的人本流派。3、古罗马西赛罗时代指人的教育,通过教育使人的身心得到全面的发展。4.欧洲文艺复兴时期的人文主义,也称人本主义。5.西方启蒙运动的人道主义（人性论）,也称人本主义。6.费尔巴哈哲学的人本主义。7.当代西方哲学中与理性主义相对的人本主义。8.当代西方心理学中以马斯洛心理
