1 INTRODUCTIONJetting fluidized beds have been widely applied in such processes as catalytic and flame reactions, combustion and gasification of coal, treatment of waste, cleaning of dusty gases, coating and granulation[1-3]. The flow characteristics of jetting fiuidized beds are relevant to the stable gas jet and the high rates of heat transfer and mass transfer, and the fast chemical reaction pro cess near the gas distributor.
