8月11日到8月13日,在明年亚特兰大奥运会比赛场地进行的第四届世界杯乒乓球团体赛,以韩国男队和中国女将的捧杯而收兵。此次比赛除香港女队未到外,集中了乒坛大部分强队,是一次高水平的较量。 反映格局更客观 中国乒乓球队三个月前在天津世乒赛上包揽了全部7项冠军,给人的印象是中国健儿乒坛独领风骚。但若去掉占有东道主优势的因素,似乎这次亚特兰大世界杯团体赛更能真实反映当今世界乒坛的格局。
