近年来,随着建设阳光政府和建设和谐社会进程的稳步推进,各行各业都在不同的领域积极求新求变,搞活创新,更好地适应社会发展的需要。作为档案部门来说,虽然也搞了一些探讨,如爱国主义教育基地的建立、现行文件阅览中心的成立、档案网站的开通等,从一定程度上提高了社会档案意识,拓宽了服务领域,收到了良好的社会效果,但档案工作还是没有真正融入社会生活的方方面面,对社会来讲还是处于一种半封闭半开放的状态。如何最大限度地发挥档案和档案工作的价值,突出地方特色,提高档案工作的品位,使它更加贴近中心工作,服务人民群众,摆脱过去那种“躲进深闺人未识”的状况,笔者认为,还应在“活”字上作文章。
