In recent years, many studies have confirmed that BPA exposure in pregnancy affects the emotional symptoms (anxiety and depression), social behavior and non-social behavior, memory and brain executive function in animal and human offspring. Given the widespread presence of BPA in everyday consumer goods, the issue of safety is gaining increasing attention, and BPA materials have long been banned in baby bottles in the EU, Canada and the United States. The research on BPA in our country started a little later. This article will briefly review the research progress and main problems between BPA exposure in pregnancy and offspring behavior and cognitive development from two aspects of animal experiments and population studies.
