按照我国粉末级别的规定,凡是粒度小于0.5μ的粉末称为超细粉末,见表1。表1——我国粉末级别的分类表欧美一些国家通常把小于1μ的粉末定义为超细粉,而日本则把小于10μ的粉末定义为超细粉。随着超细粉末研究和测试工作的开展,用“μ”(微米)作单位来表示它的尺寸已经显得不方便了,进而一些国家开始用“(?)”(1(?)=1/10000μ)来描写它,划分它,并且用“粒子”的概念赋与它以新的含义。日本人通常将小于500(?)的超细粉末称为超微粒子。德国人则将1μ—500(?)的粉末称为微粒子,500~100(?)的称为亚微粒子,小于100(?)的称为超微粒子。
