应中国石油学会的邀请,由日本石油学会组成的日本石油学会访华团一行八人,以日本石油学会副会长、日本早福田大学教授森田义郎为团长,于1983年8月1日至11日来华进行了访问,先后访问了北京、任丘油田、西安、上海、杭州,最后由上海出境。在该团访问的同时还进行了学术交流活动。代表团以石油炼制及石油开发专业为主,在华期间该团会见了中国石油学会理事长候祥麟,并对“重油处理技术开发与展望”、“磐城冲气田的开发”等六个专题进行了学术报告和讨论。除此以外,该团还参观了北京石油勘探开发科学研究院、
