以前人们使用钢罩保护处于运动状态下的机器和设备部件上的电缆、导线以及软管。如今这种结构已被模块化的、上盖和底板可撬开的塑料装置所取代。这种装置被称为拖链或拖管,因为它们能够为处于运动状态的耗电器输送必需的动力。这种拖链的一个不容忽视的重要功能是保护电缆、软管不受外界干扰。另外,用于信号和数据传输的导线也在拖链中得到保护,这一点对当前的机器和设备来说具有重要意义。正如下面这个钢结构企业的例子所展示的那样,拖链在默默地承受着一个工业企业的几乎全部载荷。
In the past, people used steel covers to protect cables, wires, and hoses from moving parts and equipment. This structure has now been replaced by a modular plastic unit that can be pried open with a lid and floor. This type of device is known as a towline or drag tube because they deliver the necessary power for the moving consumer. An important function of this type of towline, which can not be ignored, is to protect the cables and the hoses from outside influences. In addition, the wires used for signal and data transmission are also protected in the towline, which is of great importance to current machines and equipment.
