Doping NaF crystals with carious impurities can remarkably affect thelasing efficiency and efficiently improve the stability of F_2~+ centers in them.Both the(F_2~+)center in NaF:Me~(++)(Me~(++)represents divalent metal ion)andthe(F_2~+)center in NaF:OH-can be used as the laser active center for so-lid tunable laser operation,their emission spectra are in the range of 0.99—1.22μm and 1.08～1.38μm,respectively.
