常州市充分发挥政府主导作用,积极引导企业院校走产学结合、校企合作培养高技能人才之路,探索建立形式多样的校企合作培养高技能人才新模式,取得了显著成效,有力地推动了全市高技能人才工作。2004年实施常州市三年三千六百新技师培养计划以来,已累计培养新技师4388人,是前十年培养技师人数的1.5倍,培养造就了以常州首位“中华技能大奖”获得者、全国产业知识工人的杰出代表邓建军为首的一大批高技能领军人才。
