高校图书馆是为学校教学和科研服务的学术机构，为读者服务是其唯一宗旨，了解读者和让读者了解图书馆是搞好服务工作的关键所在。图书馆应通过提高馆员素质，加强读者教育，搞好读者调查及建立同读者之间的良好关系，不断提高服务水平
The university library is an academic institution serving school teaching and research. It is its sole purpose to serve the readers. Understanding the readers and letting the readers know the library is the key to doing a good job of service. Library should improve the quality of librarianship by improving the quality of librarians, strengthening education of readers, doing a good job of readership survey and establishing good relationship with readers
