汉字属于表意体系,与拼音文字不同,可以从字形直接推知字义,能够比较独立地表达观念,字形与意义之间的联系比字形与声音之间的联系更紧密。
Chinese characters are ideographic systems. Different from Pinyin characters, they can directly infer the meaning of words from the glyphs and express ideas more independently. The connection between the glyphs and the meaning is more closely linked than that between the glyphs and the sounds.
