图书馆人力资源管理,实质上是对图书馆人力资源的有效性开发管理。在以高科技为核心、以信息产业为基础的崭新的知识经济时代,要求图书馆从知识经济、信息技术角度出发,重新审视自己的发展战略。现代图书馆要以提高服务质量、实现图书馆知识产业可持续发展为根本出发点,重视人力资源的开发创新与内部人力资源的优化整合,着力培养高素质的专业人才、培育图书馆员的创新精神和敬业精神,充分调动图书馆员的积极性、创造性,去迎接知识经济环境的挑战。
